Daniel and Kayleen Peacock’s youngest son, Brodie, travelled to Sydney this week to swim in the NSW age championships.

In his first five events - 400m freestyle, 200m individual medley, 100m breaststroke, 400m individual medley and 200m breaststroke - he gained national times and qualification for finals.
He also gained his first ever state bronze medal, in the 400m individual medley event.
The state event concluded on Sunday, with Brodie swimming every day.
The final day of competition saw Brodie swim the 50m breaststroke, winning his second bronze medal for the meet and gaining his time for the Australian nationals.
Just 40 minutes later he fronted for the 1500m freestyle, coming fourth overall with 31 seconds taken off his previous time.
Brodie swims with North Albury Swim Club and gets up at 4.30am, travelling half an hour daily from his home. He then stays after school for the afternoon session.
He will be going to Brisbane in the new year to swim in the Australian national titles event.
Grandparents Jeff and Karen Peacock are very proud of his achievements.
All in all, Brodie had a fantastic meet and his family is feeling over the moon.
