Held from Monday, September 28 to Thursday, October 1 at the Berrigan Soldiers War Memorial Hall, locals Ben Stonnill, Ellie Davies and Helen Dickie will guide students aged 8 to 18.
“Across four days, the students will participate in drama games and skills exploration, workshops in dance, some singing and fight choreography and look at some sound and lighting skills, as well as touching on some character work with monologues,” Mr Stonnill said.
Workshops will run daily from 9am to 3.30pm, culminating in a public performance at 3pm on the Thursday.
Berrigan Show Society president Neville Dalgliesh said the workshops are a “great opportunity to build on the local expertise and success of Berrigan Amateur Dramatic Society”.
“It is important to offer school holiday programs for our local young people, and Berrigan Show is pleased to support this opportunity following the success of our 2024 Spring School Holiday Program.”
The committee acknowledged supporting funding from the Strawberry Fields Festival’s Local Community Grants Program, and from a generous anonymous donor.
