This year’s dawn service saw a notable increase in attendance, with locals turning out in greater numbers than in previous years to pay their respects.
The quiet reflection of the early morning set a fitting tone for the day’s events.
The 10am march was, as always, well organised and well supported, with participants including Jerilderie Public School, St Joseph’s Jerilderie Primary School, Finley High School, local firefighters, and past servicemen and women.
The procession made its way through town, drawing a crowd of onlookers who gathered to honour the occasion.
The day served as a meaningful reminder of the sacrifices made by those who have served, with the Jerilderie community once again coming together in respectful recognition.
Thank you to the Jerilderie RSL Sub-branch for facilitating and coordinating the breakfast after the dawn service.
