Barooga shed fire quickly contained

The fire was reported at 6.11pm, with Tocumwal Fire + Rescue NSW assisting Barooga NSW Rural Fire Service and Cobram Country Fire Authority to bring the blaze under control.

Firefighters had the fire contained within 20 minutes and “blackened out” - or fully extinguished - after about an hour.

Efforts prevented the flames from causing damage to neighbouring properties.

Fire authorities have confirmed no one was harmed as a result of the blaze.
