Senior netball blue-wash over The Rock

The Coleambally Blues had success on the courts against The Rock Yerong Creek last weekend at Coleambally, which was round 17 of the Farrer League.

All four senior netball teams had hard, gritty wins against much improved Magpie outfits.

In the footy, congratulations go to Jai Wilson for debuting in first grade. He played a great game in multiple positions across the ground.

In other news, Coleambally’s Jessie Pound was awarded the under-17s Most Determined for the Barellan and District representative team this year.

The Coleambally Football and Netball Club is extremely proud of Jessie’s 2026 achievement.

There is one round left before finals in the Farrer League this weekend, with Coly away to Barellan.

Meanwhile, in the South West Juniors, the Blues’ under-11s netball and under-16s football teams play in elimination finals this Sunday, August 9 at Griffith.

The SWJFNL League Presentation is also this Sunday, August 9.

Coleambally is hosting the Farrer League qualifying final next week, Saturday, August 15, and the South West Juniors grand final on Saturday, August 22.
