Farming is taking to the skies, with drone technology transforming agriculture — from precision crop mapping and monitoring crop health to smarter livestock management.
With high-resolution aerial imagery and real-time data, farmers can keep a closer eye on irrigation, soil conditions, livestock, fences and hard-to-reach areas across large properties.
Training through Tocal College and the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is being offered in Coleambally on October 26. AgSkilled funding is available for eligible participants.

Toganmain Woolshed will host two big events on one day, on Saturday, September 12.
The gates will be thrown open for a full day and night of fun, with the open day and markets from 10am to 3pm and the Cocktail in the Yard event later the same day.
During the day, wander the stalls, soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy live music from Stickie Fingers.
As the sun sets, unwind with cocktails and live music from Velvet Sessions.
Anyone who purchases a ticket to Cocktails in the Yard will also get free entry to the open day - your only chance to look around the full precinct.
A bus service will run for the evening event, with pick-ups at Coleambally and Darlington Point. Just book your seat when you book your tickets.
