Riverina Women’s
The Riverina Women’s Golf Association’s 18 hole Sandgreen Championship was held at the Coolamon Sport and Recreation Club on May 15.

Overall winner and Ailsa Rossiter Memorial Perpetual Trophy winner was Glenda Whitby of Narrandera with a score of 63 nett.
Glenda also claimed the Olive Iverach Perpetual Trophy for taking out the veteran handicap, and the RDAGA Perpetual Trophy for Division 1 for her scratch score of 82 points. Glenda was also the Division 1 handicap winner.
Handicap runner-up was Chris Mildren of the Albury Commercial Club with 71 nett, and scratch runner-up was Janet Coleman of Wagga Wagga Country Club with 83 points.
In Division 2, Angela Mewburn of Wagga City won the Ganmain Associates Perpetual Trophy with a winning scratch score of 89 points. She was also the handicap winner with 66 nett.
Scratch runner-up was Brooke Mathewson of Holbrook with 93, and handicap runner-up was Carolyn Rutledge of Coleambally with 70 nett on countback.
Division 3 scratch winner and Jo Kay & Gail O’Halloran Trophy winner was Heather Mannes of Coleambally with 104 points. She also won the handicap with 66 nett.
Runner-up in scratch was Kathryn Halliwell of Wagga City with 107 c/b, and handicap runner-up was Kay Irvine of Hillston with 72 nett.

Jerilderie
Midweek golf was a medley par round, and the evergreen Sara Ham has once again come to the fore. She produced a winning round with -2 result.
Runner-up on a count back was Heather Cameron with -5.
Sunday was also a medley par competition, won by Shane Fostser with +1, and with Lee Rowan runner-up on countback with 0.
NTPs: 5th Bryan Payne, 7th Campbell Rowan, 10th and 16th David Leeds, 13th Ian Taylor, 15th second shot Ian Taylor.
The club had 32 teams for the two person ambrose Origin Charity Golf Day on Sunday, May 17.
The car on offer for a hole-in-one, sponsored by Cobram Toyota, didn’t go off on the 5th hole.
The charities that received the proceeds from the day were the Jerilderie Hospital Auxiliary and Lord Mayor’s Children Camp Portsea.
Scratch winners were Chase Doyle and Ben Kerr 67, 2nd Peter Kane and John Tofani 70, 3rd Travon Britton and Mark Winnett 71 c/b.
Handicap winners were David Gregory and Alan Austin 62nett, 2nd David Hercus and Jeremy Bryce 65 nett, 3rd Adam Marshall and Scott Martin 66 nett c/b.

Berrigan
Wednesday's winner was John Walker (45-11.5-36.5), and runner-up was Chris Kelly (37). Doug Cameron won the putting with 12 putts, and ball winner was Maria McDonell (38).
Friday's winner was Geof Tait (50-15-35), and runner-up was Joe Karakai (44-8-36). Neil Graham won the putting with 13 putts.
Saturday's winner was Neil Graham (50-13.5-36.5), and runner-up was Joe Nicholls (48-10-38). Beau Wallis won the putting with 14 putts, and ball winners were Marianne Whelan (38) and Mick Curtin (38).
Sunday's winner was Don Shaw (94-26-68), and runner-up was Neil Graham (100-27-73). Shane McLean won the putting with 27 putts and ball winners were Joe Nicholls (94-20-74) and Doug Cameron (86-11-75).
