While the scoreboard was not in our favour, there were still plenty of positives to takeaway from the game.
Every player showed great determination and never stopped competing, even when Numurkah gained momentum and put pressure on us throughout the game.
It was great to see everyone’s attitude remained positive, encouraging each other and worked hard to the final whistle.
The effort, resilience, and willingness to keep pushing was evident throughout the game.

B-grade: Finley 43 def by Numurkah 51.
Despite the loss, this was one of B-grade’s most competitive performances so far this season.
Every player worked hard from the first whistle to the last, taking the game right up to Numurkah and staying in the contest throughout most of the four quarters.
Our attacking end showed some excellent passages of pay with patient ball movement, working well together and converted some great shots.
The midcourt worked tirelessly, creating many opportunities for our goalers.
Defensively, our pressure applied across the whole court forced several turnovers, with the defence end contesting every ball.

The girls may not have had the win, but they followed instruction, adapted to positional changes, and fought hard to the last quarter, in which they scored 18 goals.
Unfortunately, it takes four full quarters of netball to win a game.
Well done though girls for your determination.

It took a quarter to get into the game, but it was a great win from C-res on Saturday.
Everyone played their part very well, from centre to shooters and defensive pressure for every ball.
Well done, and we take the win and look forward to doing it all again next week.

Under-17s: Finley 64 def Numurkah 33.
It was a whole team effort on Saturday, which saw us take a dominant win.
Great passages into attack and strong defensive pressure saw multiple turnovers and intercepts, which resulted in goals.

Under-15s: Finley 37 def Numurkah 30.
It was a wonderful team effort on Saturday, with the girls continuing to build confidence as the game went on.
It’s fantastic to see the work at training coming out on the court and really making a difference.
Ivy Murray showed strength in the ring with strong holds and a willingness to take on feedback during the game.
Amber Lawlor's confidence and accuracy showed with her feeding passes into attack.
Sienna Keeley showed great determination. She was hungry for the ball, worked hard on her player and gave 100 per cent all game.

Under-13s: Finley 17 def by Numurkah 44.
The under-13s had a tough game and unfortunately did not get the win, but they held strong and never gave up.
It was a great effort by the whole team.

Everyone is starting to discover their key positions and beginning to play them well as a team.
