The Coleambally Nomads Cricket Club has wrapped up its 2025/26 season with a well‑attended presentation night, celebrating another strong year on and off the field.

Club president Shaun Iddles thanked players, volunteers and supporters for their commitment throughout the season, noting that both grades reached finals and the second grade side claimed back‑to‑back premierships in the one‑day competition.
Club sponsors were also acknowledged, with a club spokesperson simply saying the Nomads “wouldn’t be running every year without their support”.
In third grade, Andrew Fattore collected both the most runs and batting average awards, while Thomas De Mamiel topped the bowling with the most wickets and best average.
Brock Shields was named most improved, and Liam Muir received the coaches award.
Second grade honours went to Sanil Babu for most runs, with Cooper Smith taking out the batting average.
Sam Strachan and Shawn Iddles shared the most wickets tally, while Iddles also claimed the bowling average.
The club’s top accolade, Club Person of the Year, was awarded to Sam Breed for his contribution across the season.
A special acknowledgment was made to the many club members who helped deliver the Nomads’ new training and playing facilities, an upgrade that benefits not only the club but the wider Coleambally community.
The Nomads thanked everyone who attended the presentation and all who took to the field this season, saying they are already looking forward to returning for 2026/27.
The Most Ducks award went to Luke Roberts.
