Tocumwal’s netballers and junior footballers will lead the Bloods finals campaigns in 2026.

Every netball team outside C-grade and both the thirds and fourths footy sides have qualified for finals.
In A-grade netball, the side finished fifth.
Coached by Alana Tyndall, the team also has the reigning league best and fairest winner Rhiannon ‘Spot’ Maxwell.
They play an elimination final this Saturday at home against Picola United from 1.30pm.
The B-grade side have finished in third, giving them the week off before playing the Deni Rovers in the second qualifying final, next Sunday at Strathmerton from 11.50am.
C-reserve have finished in sixth and play an elimination final against Tungamah this Sunday from 11.50am at Rennie.
In the junior netball, the under-17s have placed seventh, while both the under-15s and under-13s have claimed third position.
The two most junior netball sides both play qualifying finals against the Deni Rovers at Strathmerton next Sunday.
The under-15s play from 9.15am, followed by the under-13s from 10.25am.
The under-17s will play against Mathoura in their elimination final at Rennie this Sunday from 10.25am.
In the football, the Tocumwal thirds in seventh will play an elimination final against Tungamah taking place at the same time and place as the under-17s netball just on the footy field.
Finishing fourth, the fourths will play their qualifying final against Barooga at Katunga next Saturday from 9.15am.

Jayne Black (Assistant Coach, WA, C, WD) - A vocal and passionate midcourter who wants the ball when the game is on the line. Tight in defence and confident feeding into the circle, she brings energy, intensity and a fierce desire to win every contest.
Jacinda Lawrence (Captain, GK) - Our fearless captain who is always hunting the intercept. Calm with ball in hand yet commanding with her voice, she keeps opponents guessing while leading the team with smart decisions and unwavering determination.
Amy McGuiness (GS) A strong, confident shooter who patiently waits for the perfect position before striking. Reliable under pressure, she not only finishes the job but brings out the best in those around her.
Christina Roberts (WA, C, GD) - The workhorse of the team. A tireless midcourter and defender who fights for every ball, creates attacking opportunities and runs all day. Her loud encouragement and relentless effort lift everyone around her.
Sophie Walsh (C, WD) - A smart and composed midcourter who has worked hard to build her fitness. She reads the game beautifully, predicts the next play and makes an impact at both ends, all while being her teammates’ biggest cheerleader.
Sarah McCabe (WD) - A determined and dependable midcourter who thrives on shutting down opposition momentum. Her ability to link up play, disrupt attacks and consistently deliver makes her a player you can always count on.
Mel Jones (C, GD, GK) - The voice of experience and leadership. Whether in defence or midcourt, she lifts those around her with clear direction and encouragement. Strong over the ball, adaptable in defence and incredibly reliable in possession.
Tanya Saraikin (GD, GK) - A consistent defender with lightning-quick hands and an exceptional ability to read the play. She anticipates linkups, disrupts attacking flow and turns defence into opportunity.
Michelle Murphy (WD) - Our first-year player who uses her height and hands over the ball to slow down opponents. She’s constantly learning, listening and developing.
Bella Nave (GS, GA, C, WA) - A calm and determined player who can shine in both the shooting circle and midcourt. Her fitness, accuracy and willingness to put her body on the line make her a dependable presence wherever she’s needed.
Claudia Almond (WA, C, WD) - A pocket rocket with endless energy. Her fitness, leap and reach allow her to dominate the midcourt, disrupt opposition play and create opportunities. Always willing to step up wherever the team needs her.
Olivia Jackson (GD, GK) - A consistent and composed GD/GK who dominates the defensive circle by keeping shooters out of the ring and making every contest count. She plays a clean, disciplined game, is always available on the attack after a turnover, and is determined to make every defensive win count by helping her team convert it into a score.
Jazzie Good (WA, C) - A strong and athletic WA/C with the fitness and strength to run all day. She reads the play beautifully, using her anticipation to pick off intercepts and turn defence into attack. Reliable with her quick pocket drives and always working to create an option, Jaz brings energy and impact through the mid court.
Tamika and Meagan (Team Managers) - The glue that holds our team together behind the scenes. They are constantly supportive, always reliable and one step ahead. Their encouragement, organisation and care allow the team to focus on what matters. We simply couldn’t do it without them.
