Congratulations to Curtis Reedman for debuting in first grade football.

He played a great game in multiple positions across the ground.

The Farrer leage qualifying final will be this Saturday, August 15 at Coleambally, for the under-18s footballers.

An elimination final for C-grade netball will be at The Rock on Sunday.

Netball

C-grade: 25 to 42 - Down

Awards: Ava Morris and Jaide Pound.

B-grade - 38 to 58 - Down

Awards: Alicia Perkins and Tara Pound.

A-reserve: 30 to 39 - Down

Awards: Jemma Pound and Abby Trezise

A-grade - 25 to 44 Down

Football

Reserves: 121 to 20 - Down

Awards: Leigh Petrie, Doug Winter, Peter Hill, and Andy Ammann.

Firsts: 191 to 58 - Down

Awards: Toby Blissett, Connor Bock, Sam Daniel, and Ben Clark.

South West Juniors FNL

The under-11s netballers left it to the last 180 seconds of their game to click together, and get a come from behind, one-goal win over the Northern Jets.

In windy, wet and hard conditions for netball, the team opted for short passes down the court to score six goals in two minutes to win the thriller.

An all court performance from the girls even had their coach in tears.

Under-16s AFL focused on being first for the footy and converting their opportunities in very wet conditions, to win 8.12.60 to 4.4.28 against a more fancied opponent in Leeton/Whitton Crows.

Andy Fattore, Fergus Steers, Harvey Pound, Tom DeMamiel, Brock Shields and Tom Shelton were instrumental in winning the footy and driving it into attack.

Both junior teams will now play in the preliminary final this Saturday at Narrandera, for a shot at a home grand final the week after.

The South West Juniors grand finals will be in Coleambally on Saturday, August 22.
