Teyha, a Finley Little Athletics member, competed in the discus.

Little Athletics Western Riverina zone coordinator Pat Kelly said it was the fist time the event had been run.

"It’s hoped it will continue, as it is a great opportunity for country athletes,“ Kelly said.

The event is open to all primary school-aged children, not just Little Athletics members.
