Despite the tough conditions and heat, the girls put together a strong performance and worked hard for one another all game.
Lauren Bertram stepped up confidently in her first A-grade appearance, playing a great role through WA with strong movement and composure around the court.
Layla Towler was relentless through the mid-court, applying intense defensive pressure and making Barooga work hard for every passage of play.
Sabrina Dalgliesh also battled well against Barooga’s strong defensive end, shooting accurately and continuing to provide a steady presence in the ring.
Overall, it was a fantastic team effort, with the girls showing determination, resilience, and great support for one another from start to finish.

The girls put together another hard-fought performance, with the new players continuing to settle into the side well and build strong connections across the court.
The defensive pressure all game was outstanding, with the girls working tirelessly to contest every ball and force Barooga into errors.
Across the court, the team showed great determination, backing each other up and never giving up in the contest.
It’s been fantastic to watch the group continue to grow together each week, with combinations improving and confidence building as they gain more time together on court.
Overall, it was a strong team effort with plenty of positives to take away.

C-grade came out strongly, opening the first quarter with a five-goal lead through some fantastic teamwork and ball movement.
Bec Ware and Sam Henderson worked beautifully together in goals, complementing each other well with their movement, timing, and accurate shooting.
As the game progressed, the girls lost a little cohesion through the midcourt which led to a few costly turnovers, allowing Barooga to work their way back into the contest.
Despite this, Kayleigh Ross and Jodi Hawes applied immense pressure in defence all game and were well supported by Rachel Arnold and Ebony Loomes, who worked tirelessly to contest every ball.
Through the midcourt, Chantelle Henderson and Maddie Rice provided excellent drive and movement, continuing to work hard to transition the ball down the court.
Darcie Smith also had a fantastic outing in goals, matching the pace and pressure of the game well and continuing to fight hard in the ring.
The girls never stopped working to regain their lead and showed plenty of determination and resilience throughout the match, but unfortunately couldn’t quite climb back in the end.

Saturday’s scoreline definitely didn’t reflect the intensity and effort shown out on the court, with the girls involved in a fast-paced and highly contested game from start to finish.
Liv Mynard, Nat Wiencke, and Tamara Holley had a strong presence in defence, coming up against goalers who rarely missed while continuing to apply relentless pressure and contest every ball.
Rosie Phillips and Marley Carlson stepped up from the under-17s and had a fantastic outing, showing great composure with some excellent intercepts, a positive attitude, and strong movement to create space around the court.
Through the midcourt, Meg and Annabelle Brooks and Ebony Loomes provided great support and worked tirelessly to transition the ball and keep the play moving.
In goals, Annie Cameron, Danni Black, and Sam Henderson showed great movement and continued to work hard to find opportunities in the ring, but unfortunately it just wasn’t enough on the day.
Facing a very different style of play, the Saints struggled at times to gain control of the game, however it has provided plenty to work on and learn from heading into the coming weeks.
The effort and determination from the girls never wavered, which was fantastic to see.

Another win on the board for the girls on Saturday.
A fantastic team performance right across the court with some great combinations, skills and passages of play throughout the game.
Marley Carlson played her best game of the season, with her confidence in the ring shining through.
Emilee Sneddon backed up with another stellar performance in defence, working hard to shut down their shooters all game.
Rosie Phillips was outstanding, with brilliant footwork, hands on everything and giving 100 per cent effort from start to finish.
Maddie Rice was everywhere across the court, taking intercepts left, right and centre and creating plenty of opportunities for the team.
A really strong all-round effort from everyone today.

Under-15s: Berrigan 11 def by Barooga 52.
The under-15s had a great hit out, showing some really good passages of play throughout the game.
The girls worked hard to trial different combinations and position changes across the court, with everyone adapting well and continuing to support one another.
There was plenty of positive movement with strong drives and continuous reoffering, allowing the girls to transition the ball well and create opportunities down the court.
Despite the scoreline, there was marked improvement across the team, particularly in their teamwork, movement, and willingness to work hard for each other.
The girls should be really proud of the way they continued to push through, adapt to changes, and never give up throughout the game.
Plenty of positives to build on moving forward.

The girls played an amazing game and were rewarded for their efforts, recording the highest score by the under-13s in the past two years.
It was a fantastic team performance with the girls working hard for one another and showing great confidence across the court.
Tilly Doyle was outstanding in goals, shooting accurately and once again proving she is capable wherever the team needs her.
The Robertson girls - Isla and Dakota - stepped up again to help out and were an important asset to the side, bringing great energy and effort throughout the game.
Edie Gemmill also excelled through the midcourt, continuing to impress as our weekly little pocket rocket with her speed, determination, and relentless work rate.
Overall, it was a fantastic effort from the whole team and a great reward for the hard work the girls have been putting in each week.

Game 1: What a fantastic game today from our baby Saints.
Everything we have been working on at training clicked, resulting in goal-after-goal.
With Ella Swann, Emily Gorman and Rachel Wiencke strong through the midcourt and Elaine Thomas and Matylda Dess stepping it up, we had smiles all round.
Game 2: The standard continues to lift with these girls as they work hard as a team.
Sylvia Swann was fantastic in the centre, and Lizzy Swann and Lillie Martin continued to turn the ball around in defence.
Sienna Flynn and Lacey Morgan worked the ring well together and Ella Swann proved her worth all over the court earning her the best on court.
