The second week of finals in the Picola League will see top four teams play each other, with winners earning another week off and are just one win away from the grand final.
Tomorrow the first and fourth placed teams will play against each other at Katunga while the second and third placed teams will play on Sunday at Strathmerton.
All teams playing this weekend will have a second chance with losing sides to play semi finals next week.
The Rovers are the only local club with each football and netball side except for the two teams that lost last weekend playing in the qualifying finals.
The under-17s and C-grade netballers will start the weekend on court tomorrow having both finished as minor premiers.
The junior side will play Rennie from 10.25am before C-grade play Tungamah from 1.30pm.
In the footy, the thirds and reserves will take to the field.
Both finished fourth in their respective competitions.
The thirds will take on Barooga also from 10.25am followed immediately by the reserves who play Katandra from 12.15pm.
The only Rovers’ side playing tomorrow who haven’t beaten their qualifying final opponents this season is the thirds.
Playing on Sunday are A-grade, B-grade, Under-15s and Under-13s in the netball and fourths in the football.
The youngest netball teams both finished second and will both play Tocumwal.
The under-15s play from 9.15am while the under-13s start at 10.25am.
The senior netball teams also both finished in second.
B-grade will play Tocumwal from 11.50am before A-grade play Dookie United from 1.30pm.
In the football the fourths finished third and will play Rennie from 9.15am.
The other local clubs only had two teams progress from last week which were the Mathoura under-15s and under-13s netballers.
Blighty are out of the finals campaign with their under-15s being eliminated last week as were the Rovers’ seniors football team, C-Reserve netball and Mathoura under-17s netball.
