It will be the club’s first trip to Dookie in more than 16 years since the Power’s return to the league last year from the Kyabram District League.
The Redeyes will be looking to bounce back from contests against league powerhouses Waaia.
In the senior football, the Redeyes went down by 162 points.
Blighty senior football coach Dane Leyden said his group will reflect constructively on the weekend’s result against the ladder-leaders.
“Waaia was superb in the way they played and unfortunately just way too good on the day.
“Hopefully, we can take some elements and work to get to a level of understanding in which they played for each other onto the next.”
The Redeyes get a good chance to improve against Dookie, who have three wins against the three teams below Blighty on the ladder, but also two losses against Katandra and Strathmerton, two top four teams.
Leyden said the team will move their focus immediately onto their opportunity to get on the winner’s list.
“We’ve tried not to dwell on a loss like that because we do feel we have a winnable game against Dookie this week.
“We will train hard on the track and do everything we possibly can to give ourselves a chance.
“We should get a couple back, which is always handy, but unfortunately Ari’s (Glover) gone out with concussion.
“We want to have a positive attitude for the whole day because we play our best footy when we stay together.”
