The social game with the members of the Parkes Club, on Thursday, was a most enjoyable day.
Only two games were played with the winning team being Chris Dunn.

Best first game card, Liz Thornbury with Ray Wood, Pat Hodson and Brian Anderson had the best card in the second game.
Many of them had not visited this area previously and certainly enjoyed the facilities offered.
The day was well co-ordinated by Dawn Parker and Heather Tabe.

The opening round of the Open Northern Triples will be on Tuesday, September 17, at Berrigan, and commences at 10.00am.
Players are urged to form their teams and submit the entry to Berrigan Club or to delegate Neville Burke, 5885 2586.
This competition is open to all bowlers of any age.
Ray Wood and Gordon Haines formed the winning team in the Sunday morning bowls held recently.
A trial pennant match has been arranged against Cobram on Friday, October 4.
Teams are being arranged and players will be notified.
The pennant season will commence on Friday and Saturday, October 11 and 12.
All players are asked to please indicate their availability for pennant, for both days, to assist the formation of teams.
The football tipping competition has been won with Norm Barnes and Fred Braybon sharing the prize, Millie was third.
