The BEAT program supports the Waste to Art initiative through several therapeutic workshops to engage the community in exploring how we can use waste in a mindful and creative way.
Waste to Art is an exciting community art competition and exhibition showcasing reused and recyclable waste materials initiated by Murrumbidgee Council.
This innovative challenge invites schools, community groups and individuals of all skill levels to transform rubbish into art and design.
Participants will have the opportunity to be a part of an art exhibition in the Murrumbidgee Council towns of Coleambally, Darlington Point and Jerilderie.
Children's workshops are held tomorrow and next Thursday, April 20, from 10am to 3pm both days.
The cost is $20.
Adult workshops are also coming up in May.
