Theatre staff on the move

With staff now spread across Deniliquin, Albury and Wilcannia, and operating remotely in communities across the regions, the building space was larger than they required.

CEO Sarah Parsons said a new Deniliquin-based home is currently being negotiated, and thanked Edward River Council for its support to run from the chapel.

“The building was so much more than bricks and mortar; it enabled artistic engagement and creative freedom for local young people.”

With OTYP’s departure, ERC is expected to explore options for the Island Sanctuary building in the coming months.
