By all accounts, Finley’s annual Town Garage Sale was a hit, with 11 sales for bargain hunters to rummage through.
The Southern Riverina News’ ‘From Finley’ columnist Anne Freestone said it addeed to what was aready expected to be a big weekend, with the Finley Apex Rice Stripper’s Charity Ball also held.
“The sale attracted visitors to the town from near and far, with the hope of picking up some great bargains.
“Most sale sites were open from 8am and it was amazing to see the number of early risers circling the streets in the hope of getting in first.
“There was a wide range of produce to choose from with venues displaying unused, no longer needed and estate goods for sale.”
