The 36th Quadripartite was a "wash out", and abandoned during the first game.
This was disappointing as bowlers had entered, and travelled from 10 different clubs, but many would have previously learnt about weather problems and bowling tournaments.
The club appreciates their support as well as support from Finley RS.
The event will not feature on this year's program.
President Graeme congratulated Nan Smith on her success as bowls wecretary and on the manner it which she organised this event.
The next featured contest is Rotary Day bowls on Wednesday, March 25.
This is the 32nd time this event has been staged to raise money for Rotary so that it can undertake projects in the community. All bowlers are urged to support
Rotary achieve its goals by participating in this bowling tournament.
It is a pairs and fours event for teams of four bowlers, of any combination.

Club teams from last year are displayed and those players are urged to regroup for this day.
Single entries are being received and teams can be formed from this avenue.
Some may wish to share a game, if so please indicate on the list.
On Sunday, Tracey Miles, Geoff Trevorrow and Ron Pentland formed the winning team.

The medley fours Alan Seamer Tournament will be held this Saturday, March 14.

The Easter Bowls Tournament run by will be held Friday, April 10 to Monday, April 13.
There is a separate event each day over the four days of bowls, with a start time of 10am for a 10.30am.
The Friday will feature a men’s pairs medley and ladies pairs medley.
Saturday, April 11 will be two bowl mixed triples and Sunday, April 12 will be mixed pairs medley.
The tournament will finish up with mixed fours on Monday, April 13.
Cost is $15 per person per event.

Monday’s Mixed Social Bowls are held every Monday up until May 4.
New bowlers are welcome to Monday Mixed Social Bowls, 9am for a 9.30am start. Casual wear and flat soled shoes. Bowls are available at the club.
