More than 400 people turned out at the Goulburn Valley Hotel on Friday, July 10 for a night celebrating Punjabi culture.

The sold-out event featured children’s performances, energetic Bhangra dancing and a live performance from Punjabi singer Gurlej Akhtar.
The audience was singing and dancing along to the performances all evening and enjoyed the celebration of culture, diversity and community spirit.
The organisers said they wanted to sincerely thank all sponsors, supporters, volunteers and performers, and the Shepparton community for its incredible support.
Following from the successful night, more cultural events are being planned for the future.
