The art is found in the aptly named ‘The Gallery Room’, situated in the Finley RSC auditorium.
The general public is welcome to browse the unique collection of local art during club hours, unless a function is being held in that space.
Finley RSC marketing manager Karen Lane said ‘The Gallery Room’ is open to the public for no charge.
‘‘The idea behind The Gallery Room is to showcase local art, give exposure to the artist, introduce local art to the greater community, while adorning the once boring walls of the auditorium with inspirational beauty,’’ she said.
‘‘This project that the club is undertaking does not involve taking any fee or commission from the artist.
‘‘This all comes about due to the fact that Finley RSC is a community club and strives to embrace the community in every way it can.’’
The pieces of art are available to view from 10.30am every morning.
If you are an upcoming or professional local artist and would like to be a part of this program, contact Kate Murray at the RSC on 58831366.
