Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the Gallipoli landings in 1915 and has grown to become a national day of remembrance for all who have served and died in war, conflict and peacekeeping operations.
Dawn services, marches and commemorations will be held throughout the region, with residents encouraged to attend and pay their respects.
Service and event details for each community is as follows.
Berrigan
The march will form at 8.50am at the Berrigan Post Office, and head toward the War Memorial Hall.
A short flag raising service and laying of wreaths will take place outside before you are invited into the hall for speeches.
Morning tea will be provided at the end of the service.
Coleambally/Darlington Point
The dawn service will be held at John McInnes Square in Colembally, with community members encouraged to gather from 6.45am for a 7am start.
Later in the morning, commemorations will continue in Darlington Point.
Assemble at the cenotaph on Carrington St from 10.45am, ahead of the 11am service.
Finley
For the dawn service, form up at Finley Memorial Park at 5.50am for a 6am start.
Attendees are invited to the traditional Gunfire Breakfast at the Finley RS Club afterwards, with a gold coin donation appreciated.
For the mid-morning service, participants should form up at the corner of Ulupna and Murray St at 10.15am. The march will step off at 10.45am for Memorial Park.
Following the service, veterans and their families are invited to the RS Club for light refreshments.
The Anzac Day attention pivots in the afternoon, with the Finley Cats hosting Mulwala for Anzac Day football and netball clashes for the Murray League.
The senior footballers will be sporting special commemorative jumpers in a twilight match.
As part of the evening, a short service and commemorative flyover will take place about 5.50pm.
Jerilderie
Anzac Day commemorations will begin with a 6am dawn service at the cenotaph in Memorial Park, followed by a free breakfast at the Civic Hall.
The march will form up at 9.45am outside the chemist for a 10am start, proceeding to the cenotaph for the morning service.
Members of the Jerilderie RSL Sub‑branch will also be selling Legacy badges outside the newsagent and IGA on Friday.
Tocumwal
A 6am dawn service will be held at the RSL Hall, followed by a Gunfire Breakfast.
Participants in the annual march are asked to form up at the Big Fish on the foreshore at 10.45am, ahead of the 11am service at the front of the RSL Hall.
