As the sun rose over the lake, about 2,000 people were gathered at ClubMulwala for Saturday’s Dawn Service.

Yarrawonga Mulwala RSL Sub-branch president, John Wenzell said there was a very strong turnout from locals this year with another 500 at Mulwala’s 10am service, and more than 1,000 people at the Yarrawonga cenotaph at 11am where guest speaker, Lieutenant Robert Webb from Bandiana delivered the 2026 Anzac Day address.
Around the region, several more events through the week commemorated those who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
