Golfers gear up for second Cup round

Saturday's winner was Simon Packer (42-9-33), r/u Maria McDonell (53-19.5-33.5). Putting Alan Arnold 13 putts and also ball winner (43-7-36).

Sunday's winner was Geof Tait with 37 points, r/u Michael Curtin 36 points and ball winner Jeff Stein 35.

Next Saturday is the second round of the Wilson's Cup held at Jerilderie, and Sunday is the Men's Open Tournament.

Jerilderie

The midweek medley Stableford competition was won by Sara Ham with another great round, scoring 43 points, r/u Jenny McAllister 31.

Jerilderie also sent a team to Corowa for the Chomley-Davidson Bowl. Whilst no winning scores were recorded, there were a few raffle winners.

Sunday medley Stableford winner was Bryan Payne with 32 points, r/u Gina Simpson 30.
