Festival celebrates sips and bites of the GV

The sun prevailed as people from far and wide filled Seymour’s main street to see, hear, taste and drink the best of the Goulburn Valley.

This year’s Taste of the Goulburn Festival, held on Saturday, April 11, saw delicious food and drink stalls from across the region fill the historic Station St, handing out their offerings to large crowds.

Local talents Tilly Rose and Georgina Ulrich took to the stage, as did Sydney-based band The Slims, providing delightful sounds as attendees ate and drank their way across the Goulburn Valley.

Kids had a blast with boot-scooting demonstrations and Gnarly Neighbours’ cowboy-themed stall, supported by Goulburn Murray Credit Union.

Once again, Goulburn Options opened up its pop-up art show, showing all who entered the sheer talent the GO team has to share.

It’s reported that the rain came just five minutes after the festival ended and, while the skies were gloomy at times, the sun provided a complimentary warmth to the festival.

Yet another successful Tastes of the Goulburn Festival has wrapped up this year, showing all who dropped by what the region has to offer.
