A long history of caring for the community

Uniting acquired the facility, saving it from closure, in late 2023.

The facility was officially opened on March 26, 1995.

Over 30 years, the facility has grown to include 30 residential aged care beds, providing caring, home style, safe environment accommodation for residents of Berrigan and surrounds in their twilight years.

To complement this there are now 27 independent living units and Home and Community Care Services.

The growth is a testimony to the original committee members who recognised the need for aged care services in Berrigan, as well as the community for backing the project and the continued support.

The future looks bright as it is envisaged that Aged Care Services will continue to prosper under the guidance of Uniting NSW/ACT.
