It was supplied by Cardiac Science Australia and financed by the Federal Department of Health.
The members are very appreciative of their generosity.
Jerilderie paramedic David Daly was asked by the members to give an introduction of the machine and how it works, and we thank him for his help in understanding how it operates.
The unit is stored at the Men's Shed premises in Jerilderie Street.

Some Catholic parishioners in the southern region of the Wagga Diocese will be thinking that perhaps their new Bishop, Mark Edwards, is a ‘figment of the imagination’.
Representatives from parishes along the border regions who were to attend the Liturgical reception and Mass at the Cathedral in Wagga on Wednesday morning have been ‘uninvited’.
Because of Covid-19 restrictions at the border, and in accordance with official advice not to travel unnecessarily outside our own areas, Bishop Mark has reluctantly asked that invitees down this way stay at home.
He has expressed his desire to eventually meet with all of his flock in the future, and invites us to join proceedings at the Cathedral via live-streaming.
To participate, go to www.thestreamingguys.com.au/production/liturgical-reception.

Best wishes to Nell Rennick who celebrated her 24th birthday with family and some friends at the Colony Inn on Saturday night.

Marg Nelson has passed on a bit of sad news for those who would remember former resident Violet Jones and her family.
Cathy Daly, Violet’s youngest child, died recently at the age of 59.
In June we reported the funeral, in Singleton, of Neil Jones, one of Cathy’s brothers.
Cathy and Neil are survived by siblings Bruce and Heather.

Here’s a bit of detective work for you.
In the not too distant past two head lights vanished from the bonnet of a 1926 Ford truck, parked with other now un-used machinery on the property of Lou and Sylvia Rorato.
Maybe they are now gracing someone’s home as feature lights, or have been used for some other purpose.
Lou is a little offended that:
a. someone would trespass onto his property, and
b. steal the lights from the truck, of which he is rather fond.
If anyone can cast a light on this matter, please contact Lou at East End Welding.
