The Berrigan reserves remain one game clear on top of the ladder after a grinding win at Picola.
The blustery conditions had nearly every player on the ground in one roving pack around the ball which made getting a loose ball out almost impossible.
Some men thrive in these conditions and no man was more suited to the conditions than the in-and-under specialist that is Noel Baxter.
He was regularly seen appearing from the bottom of a pack and dashing away with three opponents hanging off his shoulders.
Adam Way again stood tall in the ruck and around the ground which ended up with both sides roving his thrifty tap work.
Adam Fox again got plenty of the ball, Kyle Hawker was again strong in the backline as was the intimidating Steve Morgan, who busted through walls all day.
Cody Heazlewood was the dominant force up forward kicking four goals.
Final score, Berrigan 5.10 (40) to Picola Utd 3.3 (21).

The Saints had their chances in the last but were unfortunately caught 16 points behind the Blues at the final siren.
