Finley High School student Sascha Jones has set an impressive nine new school records at the annual twilight swimming carnival.

The 15 year-old set new records in every individual event in which she competed, in the most dominant display of recent memory.
Other notable record breakers were the Chesworths, with siblings Erin and Ben also setting new school records.
The weather was ideal for swimming and the scene was set for a great battle between the houses of Coree, Finley, Murray and Tuppal.
In a hotly contested event, Finley came out on top as the champion house.
The carnival had a wonderful vibe which was contributed to by the enthusiasm of the senior cohort, especially year 12.
The 2019 girls age champion titles were won by Erin Chesworth (12 years), Dakota Pyle (13 years), Morgan Evans (14 years), Jemma Coombs (15 years), Sascha Jones (16 years) and Niamh Mason (17 years).
The 2019 boys age champion titles were won by Jordan Sykes (12 years), Jacob Orro (13 years), Travis Lawton (14 years), Zander Nash (15 years), Will Sexton and Rory Knight (16 years) and Ben Ashley-Cooper (17 years).
Finley High School principal Jeff Ward said it was wonderful see the significant number of parents who were able to come and watch and participate in this carnival, that represents a rigorous season of training by many students.
