Rural Aid Australia announced its Sustainable Community Program this week, which will offer 10 communities a minimum of $100,000 each over five years.
To be eligible for funding, towns must provide long term vision for the future of the town, possible projects that need completing or strategies that can contribute to the growth or maintenance of the communities population.
In addition to the funding, successful communities will also receive help from up to 100 of Rural Aid's 'Farm Army' volunteers.Â
The volunteers will spend up to a week in the successful communities, undertaking a range of infrastructure projects identified by town leaders.
Applications close September 30, 2019. For more information and to submit an application, visit.
