There were 28 teams, consisting of 112 bowlers, all competing for a chook.
There were three three-game winners.
A Mathoura team missed out with four bowls within the yard stick.
Two Rochester teams had five bowls within the yard stick, but Alan Benson’s team had bowls closer to the kitty to be the winners on the day.
They were Kevin Burrow lead, Bert Smolenaars second, John Weeks third and Alan Benson was their skipper.
The runners-up also from Rochester were: Peter Stack lead, Greame Whitehead second, Don Gillies third and Greame Chambers was their skipper.
Members of both teams received a chook each.
The winners of the IXL jams were a lead, John Hart, from Rich River, a second, Bob Greenaway from Valley View, a third was Owen Mcphee from Lockington, the lucky skipper was Wayne Andrews from Tongala.

Goulburn Murray
Naomi Cartwright, Dianne Downie and Olivia Cartwright were successful in winning the Goulburn Murray Women's State Triples Event at the weekend.
After winning the GV event the trio continued their good form and will now compete at the state finals in late April into May.
