Tocumwal and Finley played in what can only be described as a nail biting T20 game Thursday last week.

Facing off in the short Murray Valley Cricket Association competition, the game was on a knife’s edge and could have gone either way.
Finley batted first and, despite tight bowling and sharing around of the wickets amongst Tocumwal’s bowlers, the Cats set the bar high leaving Tocumwal chasing 89 runs.
Tocumwal didn’t start well too with the bat, losing multiple wickets early.
Luke Dinan proved to be the man of the moment for the Bloods, and came to the crease swinging.
He found the boundary with numerous sixes and hitting 30 runs to get Tocumwal back into the game.
Towards the end of the innings, Reilly Rennick and Jeremy Packer went on to steady Tocumwal’s ship.
They formed a strong partnership that saw them dropping and running singles on every possible opportunity.
Rennick was particularly consistent and stayed in until the end.
Unfortunately Packer fell, leaving Tocumwal needing two runs off two balls.
Liam Sutton came in as the facing batter and, under pressure, hit his first ball directly to mid-off only to be given a life with a dropped catch.
In the meantime, he and Rennick got the two runs the side needed.
With one ball to come and the game all tied, things proved to be very exciting for players and spectators.
Sutton missed the final bowl, but Rennick was already half way down the pitch and called the run.
Finley gathered the ball and threw down the stumps, only to look up and find the umpire calling the bowl a wide to give Tocumwal the win.
