The team arrived in Deni ready to take on what is always one of the powerhouse teams of the Picola League.
The defensive pressure was outstanding right across the court, making Deni work hard for every pass and earn every goal.

A tough game against Deni, but the girls never gave up and made the opposition earn every goal.
Great versatility across the court and fantastic support for each other all game. The result didn't go Toc’s way, but the effort and teamwork were outstanding.

The side went into the game knowing Deni would be a tough challenge.
While the scoreboard showed a 40–32 loss, the effort, determination and teamwork on display were outstanding.
The girls worked hard all game, never gave up, and matched it with one of the strongest teams in the competition for long periods.
There were some fantastic passages of play through the court, strong defensive pressure and plenty of grit when Deni tried to get a run on.

This was an amazing game. The players knew Deni were going to come out strong and had to put the pressure on from the start, which they did.
Everyone stepped up, kept pushing, and kept the pressure up the entire game, but fell just short.

Under-17s: Tocumwal 27 def by Deniliquin 49
Tocumwal came up against a very strong Deniliquin side, but the girls never gave up and continued to work hard across the court.
Despite the result, there was plenty to be proud of in their effort, determination and willingness to keep pushing right until the final whistle.

Under-15s: Tocumwal 29 def by Deniliquin 32
The girls all kept their heads strong and high, fighting right through until the final whistle, but unfortunately couldn’t come away with the four points despite the effort, determination and teamwork shown by everyone.

Under-13s: Tocumwal 10 def by Deniliquin 17
A tough game against strong opposition. Despite the challenges, the girls never gave up and kept their heads high throughout the game, showing determination, resilience, and positive attitude.
Awards: Mila Saraikin, Lily Baldwin, Kobi Jones, and Addison Desailly.
Under-11s: Not scored.
Another fantastic effort from the Minis. While scores are not kept, it was definitely a win with the way everyone played.
The girls listened well, worked hard for each other, and showed great improvement throughout the game.
The focus moving forward is continuing to drive towards the ball and making sure we’re calling clearly in front of our teammates to help create passing options.

Wednesday under-13s
The Bloods took on Jets under-13 on Wednesday night and showed plenty of determination right to the final whistle.
With only seven players available, the girls were undermanned and had no bench, but every player gave it their all.
In the first half a few new combinations were tried, and while it took a little time to settle, the girls kept working hard and stayed in the contest.
By the third and fourth quarters, there was a combination that really clicked, and the team fought back strongly to close the gap.
It was a terrific effort from the girls, only going down by around six goals in the end.
