There was a terrific local crowd, and the Saints looked a little different in the club's one-off retro stickman guernsey.
The Saints came out firing from the opening bounce, booting five first-quarter goals to establish an early advantage.
Berrigan's pressure around the contest and ability to capitalise going forward saw the home side take a 15-point lead into the first break.
Tungamah were on the Saints’ hammer the entire match, and meant the local lads were required to maintain their composure.
Up forward, Keith Tallent was the main target, finishing with an impressive seven goals, while Connor Thornton and Adrian Pilgram added two majors each and Harley Middleton had one with plenty of assists in the forward half.
Final score: Berrigan 12.13 (85) def Tungamah 9.8 (62).
Goals: Keith Tallent 7, Adrian Pilgram 2, Connor Thornton 2, Harley Middleton.

Reserves
Our reserves continue to front up each week with tremendous commitment and heart.
Unfortunately, it wasn't a good day in front of goal on Saturday.
The Saints were scoreless, with the polished and powerful Tungamah outfit proving a force and running away with the contest.
The best contributors for the Saints were Noel Baxter, Ayden Good, Ben Ackerly, Donald Parry, Jack Ardle, and Will Byrne, who battled hard from start to finish and represented the jumper with pride.
Final score: Berrigan 0.0 (0) def by Tungamah 24.21 (165).
Thirds
Our thirds faced a tough assignment on Saturday, entering the match undermanned with five injured.
Despite the setbacks, the boys never stopped competing, showing plenty of resilience and determination.
Jordan Swann led the way in front of goal with four majors, while Tom Baxter added another and continues to win almost every ruck contest.
Taylor Thornton gave plenty through the middle, as did Jack Magill, Clem Surrey and Huddo Ware who were solid in the back half and stopped plenty firing into Tungamah’s forward 50.
Nick Arnold continues to display enormous amounts of courage and fight for the footy and was supported this week with the inclusion of his younger brother Paddy, who provided plenty when the moment presented themselves.
Final score: Berrigan 5.8 (38) def by Tungamah 12.5 (77).
Fourths
Our fourths faced a strong Tungamah outfit on Saturday morning but continued to compete right to the final siren.
The young Saints kept working hard, and Jack Phillips kicked our sole major.
Ollie Batten, Rylan Gorman, Harvey Swann, Will Batten, and Kobe Smith were all recognised among the team's best performers.
Final score: Berrigan 1.2 (8) def by Tungamah 12.6 (78).
