Despite the challenging heat, Berrigan showed incredible resilience and determination, never dropping their intensity.
Charlie Magill was outstanding in defence, pulling off some brilliant intercepts that shifted momentum our way.
Sabrina Dalgleish worked tirelessly in attack, moving beautifully and shooting with confidence and accuracy.
Lainey Sutton’s work rate down the court was exceptional, showcasing strong movement and delivering precise feeds into the ring.
It was a true team performance, with every player stepping up, supporting one another, and giving 100 per cent from the first whistle to the last.

Game three done, and another win on the board for Berrigan. A really solid team performance this week.
It was a bit of a slow start while the girls found their rhythm, but once they settled, the next three quarters were great.
The intensity lifted across the court, with better movement and strong defensive pressure helping us create more opportunities.
From there, we were able to build a solid lead and hold it for the rest of the game.
It was great to see the girls stay composed and continue to work together right through to the final whistle.

Berrigan’s C-grade put together a fantastic performance this week against Blighty, making the most of a full bench in tough, hot conditions.
The depth across the side allowed for seamless rotations, with every player stepping in and maintaining the intensity and flow of the game.
The first quarter was near flawless, with passages of play linking beautifully, turnovers capitalised on, and accuracy in front of goal setting the tone early.
As the heat intensified, so did the effort from the girls, lifting another level and refusing to drop away.
Defensively, the pressure was outstanding all over the court.
The girls worked tirelessly to back each other up, providing strong cover and support, and ensuring consistency in every contest.
A brilliant team performance built on trust, communication, and hard work.

Another ripper game from the Berrigan ressies this week.
We were thrilled to welcome Meg and Chloe back to the court, and they certainly brought the heat with strong performances.
The movement down the court was exceptional, with the girls really putting into action what we’ve been working on at training to create some fantastic passages of play.
It was a fast and physical game, but the Saints rose to the challenge, showing great versatility and trialling some excellent combinations across the court.
The teamwork and connection are continuing to build each week, and it’s exciting to watch it all come together.

The attackers worked tirelessly again, and it really showed.
Lots of great passages of play down the court and some strong connections building.
We made a few changes coming into the game and everyone adapted really well, which was great to see.
Soph and Emilee backed each other in the goal ring, while Maddie ran the midcourt and kept things moving.
Special mention to Princess who stepped into WA this week and absolutely nailed her drives into the ring and feeds to our goalies.

Berrigan had a fantastic game and worked really well as a team.
They came out strong in the last two quarters chasing every ball.
The Saints are really showing great determination and grit out there and fighting to the last.
Our shooters worked hard to apply pressure and win back turnovers, while our defence applied brilliant pressure, it was a pleasure to watch.

Under-13s: Berrigan 3 def by Blighty 17.
Our not so little Saints had a great game against Blighty.
Our defenders worked tirelessly the whole game, Jessie Rice getting a few good interceptions and deflections.
Matilda is one of our strongest defenders and is only getting better each game, nearly not missing a rebound.
Evelyn, Juliette and Eva had a great game in the middle with some very helpful and effective hands over pressure.
Nav rotated through many different positions and had a great quarter in wing attack delivering some lovely feeds into our shooters.
Sophie had some great offensive rebounds and a good few shots at goal.
Edie had an absolute ripper of a game, driving forward for them ball and shooting most of our goals with some great movement around the circle between shooters.
These girls have come such a long way in such a short time, and we are very excited for the future of Berrigan juniors.

A fantastic team effort from 15 of our little Saints against Blighty.
The girls worked well down the channels to keep the ball moving, resulting in a goal from Lizzy and one from Lexi.
Elaine worked hard well in the mid-court for her first game, earning her an award.
Matylda, Rose and Lexi did a fantastic job making space and using their voices.
The hustle best on went to Lizzy for her great leadership, defence and awesome goal!
