Stockdale puts Rochy in a spin

Rochy had to chase 215 for the win — Moama setting the solid total after struggling early.

The top order was dismissed fairly quickly as the Mowers were 3-49.

But Kobyn James seized his moment after Joel Murphy’s removal, building a 55-run partnership with Anthony McMahon to recover the innings.

The Rochy run chase started well, with Dylan Cuttriss slugging his way to 47.

And then Russell Stockdale decided he’d seen enough boundaries from the opener.

The Moama all-rounder delivered a peach of a ball, drawing an edge — with James involved again as he took the catch from behind the stumps.

Cuttriss made the lonely walk back to the pavilion at 2-57 and Rochy never really recovered.

It was later 4-62 and then all out for 146 — Stockdale the chief orchestrator of the collapse with 4-24 figures.
