The football grounds and netball courts have been quiet at Colembally for a few weeks now, but the efforts of those involved in the season are still resonating after a series of presentation events.

At the South West Junior Football Netball League presentations, Coleambally Football Netball Club’s Jasmin Heath was awarded SWJFNL 2026 Volunteer of the Year.
She was selected for her outstanding commitment and contribution to the club.
Throughout the season, she dedicated countless hours to coordinating junior netball, organising umpires, supporting game-day operations and helping wherever needed.
Even after suffering a season-ending injury, Jasmin continued to fulfil her volunteer responsibilities with enthusiasm and reliability.
There were also two junior Coleambally netballers recognised at the league awards with Jaide Pound awarded equal under-13s league best and fairest in the South West Junior Netball.

Haddie Groves was also awarded league runner-up best and fairest in the under-11s South West Junior Netball.
At the Coleambally Football Netball Club’s own presentations, a special achievement award was presented to Rachel Beer.
She was presented with the Carol Heath Memorial Award - the highest honour for a netballer.
It is generally regarded as a recognition of a player's contribution, commitment, character and service to netball, reflecting the values of the late Carol Heath.
Recognised in the first grade football were Nick Graham and Todd Argus, who each reached 50 first grade games, James Lyell who reached 100 first grade games and Blake Argus who was selected in the Farrer Football League Team of the Year.
