It made for a great day of footy for the Berrigan Saints, clocking up wins across all football sides.
The seniors punched in a 161 point win over the Cutters on their home deck.
The Saints had 11 individual goalscorers for the match, with Dan Henderson and Bradan Batchelor each getting five.
The Cutters still applied plenty of pressure and kept the Saints busy, focusing and incorporating plenty of solid passages of play end to end.
Jack Magill looked comfortable in his second game of senior footy in his young football career, and was set up nicely for a set shot a goal in the last.
Lachlan Whelan also looking at home on the Saints’ list, having bagged himself one goal.
Lachie Pyle was everywhere in his first senior game for the season.
Assistant coach Jacko Hourigan led by example on the field, not taking his foot of the pedal for the day.

An extremely warm welcome to Steven ‘Morgs’ Morgan and Hamish Cameron into the side, and Connor Thornton from the week before.
Wayde Melle and Mason Peters made big impacts, and Morgan, Kyle Hawker and Connor Thornton all finished on three goals each for the day.
Thye were supported by Mitch Rownry, Michael Fiore and Melle.

A second convincing win for the Saints thirds.
There were 14 individual goalscorers contributing to the 33 goal haul.
Kaleb Litchfield had an absolute day out on the park, and may struggle to head back down in to the defensive 50 in the coming weeks.
It was fantastic to have Zavier Binns back in the side, and he played some impressive footy.
Lachlan Whelan, Jordan Swann and Jack Magill strong as ever through the middle, and were damaging on the scoreboard.
Jack Phillips and Tom Baxter rucked tirelessly for the day.

What at turnaround one week makes, but credit to Mathoura’s youngest Cutters for a hard day at the office.

Dusty Ryan and Jack Phillips finished on six each, Mitch Manley, Ollie Batten and Trey Burns had four, while Isaac Manley had three goals.
