This was a tight contest from the opening whistle, with both sides going goal-for-goal throughout the game.
The Berrigan defensive unit was outstanding, applying relentless pressure all over the court and making every possession hard-earned for the Swans.
The attackers worked tirelessly under constant defensive pressure, while the midcourt lifted the intensity and capitalised on some excellent turnovers with strong conversions.
Unfortunately, the Saints lost a few crucial centre passes at key moments, which allowed the Swans to pull away late.

The Saints put together an outstanding performance against a top-four contender, taking the challenge right up to one of the competition's strongest sides.
It was a true team performance across the court.
While Katunga managed to edge away by a few goals at crucial stages, the Saints never stopped fighting.
It was a fantastic game to watch, with every player contributing 100 per cent.

It was a touch challenge, but the Saints worked hard from the first whistle. Katunga got off to an early lead and continued to build on it throughout the game.
Despite the scoreboard, the defensive pressure never wavered, with the team constantly working hard to force turnovers and contest every ball.

The Saints played a terrific first half, matching it with one of the competition's strongest sides and showing plenty of determination.
Katunga's frequent rotations made it difficult to adjust in the second half, but the team continued to battle hard and never stopped competing.

Maddie Rice was outstanding through the centre, leading from the front with her positive energy, great intercepts and willingness to keep learning and put new skills into action.
A total of 63 goals was an amazing team score, and it certainly wasn't the work of one player.
It was a team effort, from our strong defensive pressure, transitions through the midcourt, beautiful passages of play and accurate feeding into the circle.
Interchange players also did a fantastic job, bringing energy from the sidelines and being ready to step in whenever needed.
A great all-round team performance.

It was a slow start, taking some time to settle into the game and find their rhythm.
Once the players warmed up, they lifted their intensity, backed each other well and chased every loose ball with determination.
Some key positional adjustments sparked the team, bringing renewed energy and helping them take the game right up to their opposition.

The girls pushed hard all game and kept the contest tight against a strong Katunga side.
Both teams converted well from their opportunities, with every turnover fiercely contested, resulting in a low-scoring but highly competitive match.

Another fantastic morning of junior netball with the girls showing great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship across both games.
They continue to grow in confidence each week, and it’s fantastic to see them supporting one another on and off the court.
