The under-12 and under-10 footballers participate in the Goulburn Murray Juniors competition, in the Cobram and District section.
Results are as follows.
Under-12s
On Friday night at home, under lights, Finley took on Nathalia in great conditions for football.
From the first bounce, the ball was hotly contested, and neither side had an advantage.
The Cats showed great courage, working hard for four quarters, unfortunately going down to Nathalia.
We were light on numbers this week and had some under-10s step up and play a second game (a huge thank you to Theo, Alfie, Levi, Patrick and Max V .)
Each week they’re improving out of sight individually and as a team.
Standouts this week were the Bailey, Caleb, Robbie and Zander.
Under-10s
The Finley kids put in another great effort in a see-sawing game against the Nathalia team.
Once again, the young Cats’ team play was a highlight, with fantastic intent to share the ball by hand and to bring teammates into the game.
This worked a treat with a close scoring game and strong contributions across the team.
This was highlighted by a solid four quarters from Benson, Levi, Patrick, Oli and Theo.
The team is displaying clear improvement in their skill level while maintaining a fantastic attitude.
