Berrigan’s A-grade netballers faced a tough contest against a strong Katamatite outfit on Saturday.
In a highly defensive battle, the Berrigan defenders were outstanding, working tirelessly to match Katandra's intensity.
The entire team gave 100 per cent and refused to give in.
It was a courageous performance that showed plenty of grit and determination.

B-grade: Berrigan 34 def by Katandra 58.
Missing a few regular players, the team welcomed a couple of C-graders who stepped up brilliantly and made a valuable contribution, fitting seamlessly into the team.
The girls put together a strong performance, playing smart netball, making good decisions and matching Katandra for long periods of the game.
At times, it was goal for goal, with Berrigan staying right in the contest.
While Katandra eventually pulled away, the Saints never stopped competing and continued to apply pressure, making the Kats work hard for every goal.

Heading into what was expected to be a tight contest, the Saints came out firing.
The girls held a narrow lead for much of the game in a hard-fought battle.
Unfortunately, Katandra gained the momentum in the closing stages, taking the win by just one goal.
Bella Ward stepped up from the under-17s and played a blinder at WD, making an immediate impact.

The Saints were in for another tough, defensive contest against the Kats.
The defence worked tirelessly to apply relentless pressure throughout the game.
Making her debut in the goal ring, Tea Symmonds put together an outstanding performance with strong holds and confident movement, earning both best on court and players' player.
The midcourt and attackers worked hard to drive the ball forward, but Katandra's tight defensive unit made it difficult to capitalise on the effort.
Despite the challenge, the girls never stopped fighting, continuing to contest every ball and support one another.

The Saints celebrated a special milestone for Maddie Rice, Sophie Baxter and Sophia-Ruby Morgan, who all played their 100th club game.
It was a fantastic team effort, with every player working hard and giving their all throughout the match.
The girls continued to push against Katandra's strong defensive pressure, showing resilience, determination and great teamwork.
They never gave up, continued to back each other, and kept fighting for every contest.

The Saints were hit hard by illness and injury, taking the court with half the usual side unavailable.
A huge thank you to the players who stepped up from the under-13s to help out.
The girls adapted brilliantly, welcoming the younger players into the team and producing some excellent netball.
Everyone backed each other up, worked tirelessly and chased every loose ball with determination.

The young Saints fought hard in a tough contest against Katandra and should be proud of the effort they produced.

Game 1 – One of the best games for the young Saints.
It was fantastic to see all the girls on the court and the improvement throughout the entire group.
The day culminated in a lovely morning celebrating Little Ladies day with Katandra.
Game 2 – There were a lot of girls playing out of position, and it was fantastic to see them adapt and grow in confidence across the court.
