While the senior sides found the home team in strong form, Berrigan's junior grades continued to impress, recording two convincing victories to cap off another encouraging weekend for the club.
The seniors came up against a polished Katandra outfit that capitalised on its opportunities.
Despite the scoreboard, the undermanned Saints never stopped competing and continued to work hard until the final siren.
There were plenty of positives to take from the contest, with Ollie Hill, Toby Dalgliesh, Matt Ross, Mason Peters, Max Tallent and Xavier Fox leading the way through their determination and grit around the ground.
Up forward, Jayden Steinke finished with two goals, as did Connor Thornton, and Hunter Surrey added another major.
The side was lifted by some up and coming junior talent and well done to Tom Baxter, Kaleb Litchfield and Clem Surrey who never shy away from the contest.
Only a handful of rounds remain, the group will continue to build and look to finish the season strongly and lift their current ladder position where able.

Reserves
It was a difficult day at the office against a very strong Katandra side.
Although the scoreboard wasn't in the Saints' favour, the group continued to battle away and showed resilience despite being under constant pressure.
Caleb Thornton, Don Parry, Noel Baxter, Jack Ardle, Steve Morgan and Ryland Joyce were recognised for their willingness to compete and never giving up throughout the match.
The reserves will be looking to regroup and continue developing as they head into the closing rounds of the season.

Thirds
The thirds continued their impressive season with another strong team performance, setting the tone early before controlling the contest from start to finish.
The Saints were on the board early, applied excellent defensive pressure while making the most of their opportunities in front of goal.
Jordan Swann starred with five goals (currently second in the league tally) while Zavier Binns added three and Logan Peasley two to their individual haul.
A team highlight 13 weeks in the making was the welcome addition of Austin Ware into the side for his first game of the season. He along with his teammates were equally excited to see him running around on Katandra’s deck.
The midfield and defence stood tall and reliable as ever, Tom Baxter, Jordan Swann, Clem Surrey, Nick Arnold and Taylor Thornton among the Saints' best in another impressive all-round performance.

Fourths
The Saints produced a solid four quarters of football, keeping Katandra scoreless in fresh and foggy conditions.
Scoring was shared around, with Jack Phillips leading the way with five majors, while Rylan Gorman and Ollie Batten each bagged three.
The leaders impressively shared the goal scoring glory among their teammates with Zach Monteath, Paddy Arnold, Dusty Ryan and Jace Willemsen adding a major score against their name in a terrific team effort.
Special mention to Ned Gorman, who scored his first goal in his first year of competitive football, which was fabulous to witness.
Jack Phillips, Dusty Ryan, Will Batten, Paddy Arnold, Harvey Swann and Kobe Smith were worthy of award accolades; all played important roles as the young Saints combined well across every line to secure another comprehensive victory.
