After two recent bolsters to Corowa’s batting stocks, the bowling stocks have now been further enhanced with last week’s signing of North Albury star bowler Blake Elliott.
The 21-year-old has been a big part of the Hoppers recent premiership success, debuting in the A Grade provincial at just 17 years of age.
Elliott’s recruitment follows the previous fortnight’s signings of star bat Cal Langlands and his prolific run scoring partner Ben Fulford, both also from North Albury.
Corowa Cricket Club shared the exciting news on Facebook last week with many excited for the 2025/26 season at Ball Park.
“It’s an absolute pleasure to announce that Blake Elliott will make the move to Ball Park this upcoming season,” the post read.
“Blake makes the move from North Albury where he played a huge part in their recent premiership success.
“We see Blake’s best cricket ahead of him and he is going to bring a huge amount to this year’s playing group on and off the field.
“Blake is a highly skilled bowler and fits perfectly into the Corowa Cartel.
“We can’t wait to see him in the Blue and Black charging in at Ball Park this year.”
