Echuca slumps to heavy defeat at hands of Mooroopna

Ashley Lancaster and Jacqui Ball proved formidable for Mooroopna in attack. They added 32 and 28 goals, with Echuca seemingly unable to come up with an answer for how to stop them.

At Echuca’s attacking end, Rose Byrne was the most prolific of the attackers with 12 goals, while Holly Chadwick (seven) and Jorja Oliver (four) battled hard all day.

The Murray Bombers will regroup ahead of next week’s grand final rematch against Euroa, with the Magpies having started the season in hot form.
