It was a tough game against a strong Dookie side.
It was a clean, fast-paced match from the first whistle, with both teams moving the ball well and working hard all over the court.
The midcourt worked tirelessly, creating plenty of passages of play and continuing to push hard.
The defenders, as always, gave it their all against a skilful and accurate shooting combination, applying pressure and contesting every ball.
The shooters also never stopped working, leading strongly and continuing to create opportunities in the ring.

With a few players away, the team did a bit of shuffling.
It proved a positive move, however Dookie were too strong overall.

Dookie are second on the ladder, so the girls knew they were in for a tough contest and rose to the challenge,
Despite going down by 10 goals, the scoreboard didn’t reflect just how hard-fought the game was.
The team worked tirelessly across the court, showing great teamwork, persistence, and support for one another.
It was a physical and challenging game, but the girls never gave up and continued to fight until the final whistle.

In a kind spirited and well fought match, Jerilderie went down to the top-of-the-table Dookie.
Lauren Hall worked tirelessly in defence all day and had a great impact on her first game back from injury, earning herself the Best on Court award.
At the other end of the court, Del McMillan was a standout in attack, creating space and shooting goals whenever the chance arose.
Carina Rorato showed her ever reliable composure and experience in both defence and attack.
Overall, the scoreboard did not feel reflective of the effort and endeavour shown by all.
Under-17s: Jerilderie 53 def Dookie United 34.
The Dees defeated Dookie in cold, drizzly conditions.
The girls were willing to take on feedback and advice during the game, which is a credit to them as a team.

Under-15s: Jerilderie 19 def by Dookie United 41.
In a hard-fought contest, the girls came out strong from the first whistle, matching Dookie’s intensity and working together well across the court.
Although Dookie eventually gained control and ran away with the lead, there were many positive moments to take away from the game.
The girls showed great determination, supported one another throughout the match, and continued to compete right until the final whistle.
Under-13s: Jerilderie 24 def Dookie United 14.
Jerilderie recorded a well-deserved win, coming out strong from the first whistle and maintaining the intensity and consistency throughout the game.
It was fantastic to see the team put everything they have been working on at training into practice.
Their teamwork, discipline and commitment was evident across the court.

The girls demonstrated fantastic teamwork, kindness and a willingness to step in wherever needed, making the day a great success for everyone involved.
