The man is described as Caucasian, aged around 40 to 50 years old, with brown eyes, small build, dark hair and dark greying facial hair.
According to police, about 1am on Saturday, July 23, a 42-year-old man was hit over the head by an unknown object and knocked unconscious while walking along the Midland Hwy near Fryers St.
He regained consciousness in nearby bushland before he was allegedly seriously assaulted by a woman and two men.
Police have charged a woman and a teenage male and are trying to identify a man believed to be involved.
A 15-year-old female was spoken to by police and released pending further inquiries.
A 39-year-old woman has been charged with robbery, assault in company, failing to answer bail and committing an indictable offence while on bail.
She was remanded to appear before Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in August.
A 17-year-old male has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury, intentionally causing injury and committing an indictable offence while on bail.
He has been bailed to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
