It was a special occasion for the students and their families, with Bishop Mark Edwards and Father Prasanth joining the parish community to celebrate this important milestone in the students’ faith journey.
Following the service, on Sunday, August 9, students, families and parishioners gathered at the Jerilderie Civic Hall for an extended morning tea.
The warm hall provided a welcome escape from the very cold and rainy weather outside, with everyone enjoying the opportunity to come together and celebrate over morning tea and a fabulous Confirmation cake.

Jerilderie residents are invited to have their say on the next stage of the proposed Jerilderie Water Treatment Plant upgrade.
The project, which council and the community have been working towards for many years, will improve drinking water quality, increase treatment capacity and replace ageing infrastructure.
Following a detailed assessment of nine treatment options, council has identified a preferred treatment process and is now seeking community feedback before deciding whether to progress to the next stage of the project.
Residents can view the preferred treatment option and supporting documents, including the Water and Sewer Strategic Plan and technical reports, on council's Have Your Say page or at any council office.
Submissions close at 5 pm on Monday, August 31.
