Attendees can seek assistance for issues relating to government complaints, bills, loans, fines and infringements, housing issues, wills and other legal matters.
Attendees are encouraged to bring relevant documentation, including letters, bills and statements.
Participating organisations include Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service, Consumer Action Law Centre, Energy and Water Ombudsman Victoria and the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.
The Victorian Ombudsman handles complaints about state government departments, agencies and local councils, helping to ensure public services are delivered fairly and transparently.
Both events are free, confidential, open to everyone and do not require an appointment.
The Monday, August 10 event will be held from noon to 3pm at the Rumbalara Football Netball Club at 20 Mercury Dve, Shepparton.
A wide variety of concerns can be addressed at this event, including poor-quality car repairs, phone and internet service issues, bills, fines, unpaid accounts and energy and water issues.
A free barbecue will be provided for attendees.
The Tuesday, August 11 event will be held from noon to 3pm at the South Shepparton Community Centre at 290-300 Archer St, Shepparton.
This event will focus on energy and water billing disputes, phone and internet service issues and government-related concerns and complaints.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
