Sir John Monash award for outstanding personal achievement, Sarah Baffsky.
CWA award for encouragement, Amity Ewert.
Apex award for citizenship, and MP award for hard work & dedication, Sama Swaid.
Director’s Leadership Award, and Jerilderie PS DUX award, Jacinta Eldridge.
Michelle Rowe award for courage & determination, and Premier’s Sporting Challenge medal for sportsmanship & prowess, Obi Ewert.
Red Cross award for positive attitude to learning, Tye Irvine.
Jerilderie RSL Sub-branch scholarship, and Lions Club award for public speaking, Hamza Swaid.
Riverina Masonic Lodge Quiet Achiever award, Charlie Harvey.
Sharon Fahey IT awards for outstanding application – Stage 1 Memphis Nash,
Stage 2 Sarah Baffsky, Stage 3 Tye Irvine.
The Year 6 graduation class of 2023 - Setharoth Conroy, Jacinta Eldridge,
Obi Ewart, Tye Irvine, and Sama Swaid.
JPS Captain for 2024 is Hamza Swaid.
Mrs Robyne Sneddon was recognised for 40 years’ service to public education and presented with a certificate and bouquet of flowers, and continues to teach at JPS.
Life Membership of JPS P & C was awarded to Kelly Eldridge for many years’ involvement.

.A reminder that garbage collections in Jerilderie will be slightly different over the Christmas period - no collection Christmas Day, but put out your green bins on the evening of Christmas Day for a Tuesday morning, Boxing Day, collection.
Red lid bins to be put out on Wednesday evening (27th) for a Thursday collection.
Normal green bin collection on Monday, January 1 – put out Sunday night. Then all back to normal!

Thanks have been expressed to everyone who bought tickets in the Finley High School P&C raffle which was drawn recently.
It was very well supported by the communities in all the school’s ‘feeder towns’.
Winners were: First $1000 voucher from Deni Travel Centre, Kaylene Dawe; 2nd $600 IGA voucher, Carina Rorato; 3rd Yeti drink bottle pack (value $250) Maxxy Orr (Barham).

Murrumbidgee Council invites you to the Summer Break Pool Party in Jerilderie, which will be on Wednesday, December 27 from 1pm to 4pm.
There will be a free sausage sizzle, free kiosk giveaways, and free entry to the pool, plus lots of fun for the family.

As the homeless black walking stick which mysteriously appeared in the Ryan family vehicle has not been claimed from the pharmacy, an executive decision was made to donate it to a worthy cause.
So, hopefully, before Christmas it will have a ‘forever’ home.

On Sunday morning, Lions Calendars for 2024 were delivered around town to every household thanks to three Lions members ably assisted by seven of Santa’s elves.
